The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of the College of Medicine at the Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry is committed to raising the bar of academic excellence. We believe in continuous quality improvement to sustain compliance with our affiliated university, JSMU, and accreditation bodies: HEC, PMDC, and WFME. The department functions as a central body for monitoring academic processes, program review, curriculum implementation, assessment quality, faculty, and student feedback mechanisms for a holistic internal audit.

Mission

To achieve excellence in medical education by implementing a strong quality assurance system that consistently and effectively maintains and improves all aspects of medical college’s functioning to meet nationally and internationally recognized benchmark.

She oversees quality assurance processes, academic monitoring, accreditation preparedness, and implementation of institutional quality policies.     Student and faculty feedback processing. Survey coordination and providing administrative and technical support, including:
    • Data entry and report formatting
    • Record maintenance
    • Communication coordination
    • Documentation archiving
    • Compiling and making the Multidimensional faculty evaluation report
    • Manage and organize QEC events, sessions.

  • The Cell works in coordination with committees, academic departments, administration, and institutional leadership to ensure quality assurance across all domains.
