• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of health professional education programs.
• Ensure compliance with national policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements related to health professions education.
• Oversee curriculum development, academic standards, and quality assurance processes across all training programs.
• Coordinate with university, relevant government departments, regulatory bodies, and professional councils to strengthen health education systems.

Dr Farzana Azhar - MBBS, FCPS, MIGS, MHPE :
The Deputy Director supports the Director in managing the operations of the department and ensures effective implementation of educational policies, programs, and regulatory activities.
• Assist the Director in planning, coordinating, and implementing health profession education initiatives.
• Support the development and review of curricula, training programs, and educational standards.
• Coordinate with educational institutions, training centers, and regulatory authorities regarding program implementation and compliance.
• Monitor departmental projects, activities, and timelines to ensure efficient execution.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation related to departmental activities and educational outcomes.
• Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and professional development activities for health professionals.
• Provide administrative and technical support in accreditation, evaluation, and quality assurance processes.
• Act on behalf of the Director in assigned matters when required.

Dr. Aaila Haider - MBBS Demonstrator Pharmacology :
The Coordinator supports the effective functioning of the Health Profession Education Department by facilitating communication, coordinating educational activities, and ensuring the smooth implementation of departmental programs and initiatives. She looks after study guides, teaching hours, JSMU and PMDC compliance, and all other related matters.
