LCMD-Cod Department of Health Professions Education (DHPE) was established with the mission of planning and implementing evidence based academic programs dictated by latest evidence and educational advancement. DHPE strives to achieve excellence in undergraduate and Postgraduate education through academic programs & faculty development initiatives.
It has been working efficiently to foster excellence in education, research and quality healthcare by providing expert guidance, initiating faculty development programs and ensuring quality in all academic interventions including innovative curriculum, technology enhanced learning, evidence based assessment methodologies thereby improving healthcare delivery in the society. It plays a pivotal role in assuring and enhancing the quality of education through its presence and participation on key educational committees at LCMD, College of dentistry.
DHPE will be a center of expertise catering to institutional academic needs through its innovative initiatives to continuously reform our educational system.
