NURSING ASSISTANT PROGRAM
Attendance
- Students are expected to maintain 75% attendance. However in cases of emergency/sickness students may miss up to 25% (cumulative).If a student misses more than 25% (cumulative) she/he may be asked to repeat the Semester.
Days & Timings
- Monday to Thursday (8:00am to 4:00pm)
- Friday (8:00am to 1:00pm)
- Saturday & Sunday OFF
Admission
- Duration of Course: Students enrolled in Institution for 1year (12 months)
- Eligibility: The Applicant must meet the following academic level: Matric with Science / Arts 45% minimum
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Age: Applicant up to the age of 30 years will be considered
- Gender: Both male & females are allowed
- Marital Status: Unmarried or married both are allowed
- Physical Fitness: A medical fitness certificate is required along with Hep B Status & Vaccination by concerned designated physician for all applicants
- Uniform policy (Female): White Shalwar, White Shirt with Pink head cover
- Uniform policy (Male): White pent, White Shirt with Blue collar/cuff Tags
- Clinical Experience: Students will be supervised by clinical Instructor/Faculty whenever they are on clinical areas
- Enrollment: All Students are required to be enrolled within three months of admission (Sindh Board of Technical Education)
Policy
- Language: The language for instructions and examination will be English
- Lecture Attendance: All Students must attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures in all subjects
- Bond: There is no requirement of Bond
- Discipline Policy: As per Institution/ College of Nursing
Studies And Exam
- All Students will be required to take College of Nursing & Sindh Technical Board Examination
- Year = 6 PAPERS
- No of Semester= TWO

- Semester Examination will be taken by College of Nursing & Annual Examination will be taken by Sindh Technical Board.
- Passing Marks for English & Computer Skills is 33% and for all other subjects is 50%. Student Failed in Theory will have to appear in both (i.e. theory and practical)

Chances Of Examination
- A student who fails examination(s) can give one re-sit attempt after 2 weeks after the announcement of results.
