Today’s CHPE session commenced with Dr. Saba Shahid warmly welcoming the participants, followed by a concise and insightful recap of Day 1. The first session was conducted by Prof. Dr. Naheed Najmi on MCQ writing, where participants actively engaged in thoughtful discussions and explored the principles of constructing high-quality assessment items. A hands-on group task further enriched the learning experience, as participants developed BCQs in alignment with the provided checklist. The next session was led by our esteemed external facilitator, Dr. Muhammad Zubair, on Item Analysis. His session was highly interactive, fostering enthusiasm and deep engagement among participants while enhancing their understanding of assessment quality and evaluation. The day concluded with Dr. Saba Shahid facilitating a reflective discussion on the group tasks, reinforcing key learning points and encouraging collaborative learning.
