An enriching and intellectually stimulating day at today’s CHPE session! The first session, conducted by our esteemed external facilitator Dr. Naveed Yousuf, who focused on the principles of assessment. It was a highly engaging and interactive session that encouraged deep reflection on designing valid, reliable, and fair assessment strategies. Participants demonstrated great enthusiasm, actively contributing to discussions and sharing their perspectives, making the learning experience collaborative and meaningful. The second session, also led by our distinguished external facilitator Dr. Fouzia Kirmani, explored the concept of gamification in education. This session was particularly dynamic and insightful, highlighting how game-based elements can enhance learner engagement and motivation. Participants were actively involved in a variety of gamified activities, which not only reinforced learning but also created an enjoyable and energetic environment. A key highlight of the day was the hands-on group activity, where participants were tasked with designing their own quizzes using Socrative. This exercise fostered teamwork, creativity, and practical application of concepts learned during the session.
